UP START – a Dublin collective who aimed to put art and culture at the forefront of Ireland’s recent National election used a piece of mine in their poster campaign (and I see that Gary Barwin was also included). Working within the requirements of Irish law, UP START sought to “encourage a debate on the role of the arts [and] to highlight the importance of creativity and ingenuity when society is in need of direction and solutions, and to emphasize the value of the arts to public life.” I was honoured to participate, as “the future development of the country requires a healthy cultivation of the Arts.”
They have a handy-dandy google-map function highlighting where each poster was placed.
